What is Non-Trucking Liability Insurance? Provides limited liability insurance for owner-operators who are permanently leased to an ICC regulated carrier. It provides limited liability protection when the owner-operator is not on dispatch, nor pulling a loaded trailer. What is Physical Damage Insurance? Provides coverage for repair or replacement for damage resulting from a covered loss (collision, fire, theft, hail, windstorm, earthquake, flood, mischief, or vandalism) to owned vehicles. Non-Trucking Liability and Physical Damage insurance plans underwritten by Great American Insurance Company, a leading provider of Physical Damage and Non-Trucking Liability insurance in the trucking industry. Quote Eligibility: Available to individual owner operators (not available to motor carriers or fleets) who are leased on to a motor carrier (owner operators operating under their own authority require other types of insurance which are not provided with this program). If an owner operator is looking for temporary Non-Trucking Liability insurance for a single trip, we are unable to quote. 3 or more years CDL experience. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years. Minimum Age: 23 Maximum Age: None, but if over Age 67 annual DOT physical required. Ineligible Risks / Unable to Quote: Amusement Park devices Coal haulers Commercial mini, Cargo or cube vans Concrete mixers Garbage or Refuse Glass lined trailers Hauling of Logs Hazmat – gasoline, explosives, propane, and other hazardous chemicals Hot Shots or Goosenecks Livestock Mobile offices Private passenger vehicles or Mobile Homes Recyclables – aluminum, glass, cardboard, scrap iron Slab stone- granite, marble and like materials Swinging Meat haulers Tow Trucks or Wreckers
